About otohns.net...

In January 1995, otohns.net was founded by Dr. Ron Kuppersmith as an e-mail listserv, at about the same time (and at the same institution, Baylor College of Medicine) that the listserv used for OBGYN.net was founded.  Over the next five years, the membership of the list was expanded, and a complimentary web presence was developed in 1997.  After discussions about MediSpecialty.com’s expertise in building professional communities in the vertical marketplace, otohns.net was re-launched utilizing MediSpecialty.com’s proprietary technology with editorial assistance from Dr. Kuppersmith.  The new otohns.net is an extensive web site that offers information exchange and interaction for otolaryngology-head and neck surgery professionals worldwide.  The site combines current articles and content with forums, a meetings calendar, reports of meetings, and news updates of local, national, and international events spanning the global otolaryngology-head and neck surgery community.
